In the interest of finding market
for the rural products various exhibitions are being
organised by the DRDA, Mahalir Thittam and other
Departments. DSMS is participating in all such exhibitions.
During he exhibitions DSMS arranges to expose the
various products produced by the SHGs of Pudukkottai.
DSMS also participates in exhibitions organized
by Directorate Rural Development, Government and
other agencies at Chennai, Delhi, Madurai, Trichy
etc., During 2002-03 DSMS has participated in 8
such exhibitions. This has helped to find markets
for many SHGs and also enabled to get feedback on
quality, package, content and this in turn helped
to improve marketability of the products.
