DSMS Pudukkottai helped to create
employment opportunities to many. More than 12 people
are directly employed in various wings of DSMS to
carryout its activities. Further through its various
support services such as on lending of credit, Marketing
of rural products etc. numerous SHGs and members
got employment opportunities and enhancing their
income.

Because of the variety of support
services to quarry SHGs and other SHGs now DSMS
has become a household name of many especially among
the SHG members in the district. They pose full
confidence in the functioning of DSMS and treat
it as on friendly organisation helping them to come
up in their life. Though DSMS is not a profit oriented
organisation it consistently makes profit and in
the process poor people also got various benefits.
DSMS has become important tool to implement SGSY
in a better way.
